RUNNING OUT OF SPACE!!!

Well I think I am beginning to drive my husband insane, he goes out and comes home and there is something else painted on the wall!  This time I decided to paint our family tree, it is growing nicely up the staircase wall, it's funky and modern and Tom loves it, I am sure when he will be able to read we will have games and hunt for names!  So here it is, the branches and leaves are formed using the names of our family

SEEING STRIPES!

Well I finally finished the 3 canvases for the lounge in Claire House Hospice, I hope they will like them, they are not too childlike and have a funky edge for everyone who will be using the lounge.  A young man there decided a New York theme would be nice, and they had a clock which had brown white and orange stripes, so  I based the paintings around the clock.  They each measure 50cm x 50cm

ARRGHHHHHH NOT ENOUGH SPACE!

I have had enough now, I need space to create my artwork.  I currently paint in my lounge at home, and with a toddler and crawling baby it's becoming impossible to work!!!  Top of my big wish list is to find some studio space to work from, in the mean time we've been clearing out my mum's garage so I work in there for now.  It's not ideal as there is no natural light, but I am sure we will come up with something!

I am quite excited, I am working on a new project this week for Claire House Hospice.  They want to brighten the walls with some funky art work.  I can't wait to get started on the canvases, hopefully I will finish off the outdoor mural at Halton Lodge Childrens Centre this week.  So much to do and so little time, especially with the boys.  I also want to get a mobile mural underway for Chalet136, it's alot easier doing a mobile mural (especially at the moment with my back and pelvis ooh and not to mention diesel prices).
Been a very busy week I have also been designing an album cover for Cold Communications first album!

OH I DO LIKE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE!

Oh, I love being by the seaside!  There is so much inspiration for the artist, we recently bought a little holiday chalet in Clarach Bay, and after having a bit if an artists block, I keep returning with more and more ideas, my latest creations has been producing art work on beach pebbles, so far I have created pieces which reflect beach side culture, I plan to make some 'initials' rocks so you will be able to spell out your name, each piece will be completely individual.  Check piccy out in the 'gifts' section of my gallery.
